A chemical compound that is foreign to a biological organism — including pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, and residual solvents that may contaminate hemp products. Xenobiotic screening is a key component of full-panel hemp testing. The presence of xenobiotics above regulatory thresholds on a COA is a disqualifying safety failure.
