CBGA (Cannabigerolic Acid)

The first cannabinoid produced by the hemp plant and the direct precursor to THCA, CBDA, and CBCA — earning it the nickname 'the mother cannabinoid.' CBGA is synthesized early in the plant's life cycle and converted by enzymes into other cannabinoid acids as the plant matures. By harvest, most CBGA has already converted, leaving only trace amounts. CBGA itself may have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
